My name is Maryam Ekoja, currently I am a  second year HAPP student here at UMBC.  Photography has always been something I've had a passion for, and I take pride in my schools and its events. This season with the UMBC men's club soccer team is going to be a very exciting one for me, I plan to get some good shots of our amazing team. See you guys on the field. Go retrievers !

Originally from Jessup, Maryland, I am a senior, mathematics major and Meyerhoff Scholar at UMBC who also has a love for the art of photography. My favorite subjects to shoot are that of the natural world around us, the architecture build by man, and of course, sports. In total, I have been shooting for over a year and a half and have turned a little pass time into a hobby, and later into a passion. Working with the UMBC Club Soccer team is an experience that I look forward to and another opportunity to continue working on my craft as well as helping them to capture some great moments.
